The dances in the repertoire of Pieremachochel are traditional dances from all over the Netherlands, for example Terschelling, Friesland, the Achterhoek, Noord Brabant, West Friesland and Zeeland.
In line with tradition, Pieremachochel also creates new dances. Also in our repertoire are some dances from the beginning of the 1900s, derived from ballroom dances, which were popular in all of Western Europe.
We always adapt our programme to the audience: Children’s dances for (and with) children, nostalgic dances for older people, simple dances to dance together with the audience and dazzling dances on stage and at international festivals.
